SitSpot Canine Center is conveniently located just off Highway 395 in Susanville California. Situated near the Susanville airport, the center welcomes fly in guests, boarders who are attending ground school while their famlies fly out of town, or dogs who simply require a quality break in their daily routine for a day, week or longer.

Susanville is Northern California's gateway to Reno Nevada's nightlife and international airport (80 miles away) as well as Highway 80 and all points east.

Campers and vacationers headed up Highway 139 to Eagle Lake (California's 2nd largest natural lake, 38 miles north) or coming to Susanville for one of its numerous community events will find SitSpot Canine Center an easy stop off and splendid way to give "Spot" a quality camp experience while the family goes on vacation or attends to those "people only" matters.

SitSpot is four miles from downtown Susanville.

Take the Susanville Airport exit off Highway 395, take a left at the stop sign (facing the airport )and take a right at 472-380 Johnstonville Rd. You'll see our SitSpot signs and visitor entrance following the long white picket fence.

Visitors are welcome, but dogs need to be on leash and need to be current with vaccinations including DHLPP and Borrdatella.

SitSpot Canine Center is open Monday through Saturday 7:30am to 5:00pm PST and though we are closed Sundays we do have courtesy pickup hour from 5:00 to 6:00pm PST.

Pre-boarding kennel visits are welcome and due to the exclusive number of pet suites we strongly encourage you to book your dog's stay well in advance to assure availability.

Our holiday schedules will be posted, but generally speaking the kennel is not open to the public on holidays.
